To dispel the notion that Colombia is only an offshore manufacturing facility, one of my tasks while in Bogotá and Medellin was to highlight the actual abilities, interests, and skills of our team.

For our design team and resource managers, we developed an internal portfolio and resource management platform. I travelled to other locations in our network to share this with our whole organization. Our team's initiatives become more varied and distinctive as a consequence. It gave our team the chance to expand their networks and skill sets, advance their careers, visit new places, and take on new experiences.


Tyba

Krealo is the innovation arm of CrediCorp LTD, a Peru-based financial institution. Their goal is to roll out products for consumers, based often on ideas that have proven successful in the US. Their first product is a financial management mobile product (where do I invest my money?) for consumers in Colombia. Tyba is an application created for those who want to achieve goals no matter how much they know about investment.


Google

I’ve worked on multiple tracks for Google, from Google Enterprise to Google for Education, plus many smaller UX exercises to improve current properties. Daily, I directed the creative process and design team. We continuously worked on evolving the Google brand by pushing the limitations of Google’s design system. We mainly focus on organic growth with the odd conceptual initiative. Google’s NDA doesn’t let me show much.

WestJet

WestJet was undergoing a corporate rebranding during the course of this project. The fact that the app design was progressing at the same rate as the visual identity's still-unfinished state presented some difficulties. In order to address this, we worked closely with the brand team to make sure every choice embodied and served the updated brand strategy. A digital style guide that outlines the specific dos and don'ts of the app was also delivered to our client. The design of the app was so well received by WestJet that it ultimately determined the appearance and feel of their other digital properties. Regular updates are made to this app, which is constantly changing. In its first week, it rose to the top spot among travel apps at the app store and is accessible on both.

Critical Mass


Infiniti

At Critical Mass, the Infiniti client and team were my main priorities. In order to create a seamless driver-to-vehicle experience, we worked on the wildly popular "Empower the Drive" campaign and performed (at the time) advanced work with GPS, beacon, and smartphone technology. This allowed customers to enter a dealership and self-direct their own car buying experience. Customers prefer to take a test drive at their own pace and on their own timetable without additional sales pressure. They yearn for a car-buying experience that is less trying. one where, prior to visiting a dealership, it is simple to get the appropriate advice from the appropriate expert.


NBA China

We wanted to create a community where NBA fans could connect with one another, add friends, form groups (based on interests or location), share accomplishments and rankings, and feel a sense of community. Through interactions with the NBA and partners, such as watching games, purchasing gear, participating in games, or going to events, fans can earn points and badges. The goal was to collect behavioural and demographic information on each fan at the individual level to aid in marketing and planning.

In China, basketball is played by 300 million people. Among young Chinese people, it is the most popular sport. There are basketball courts everywhere. Basketball is primarily about the lifestyle, in addition to the excitement of the game. It has to do with clothing, footwear, fashion, and setting trends. It's a way to remain active, healthy, and fun. It exudes coolness.

Vetster


Awarded veterinary tele-health platform Vetster offers pet owners video, chat, and voice-enabled appointments. Pet owners receive the care they require in the comfort of their own homes at times that are convenient for them. I closely collaborated with the UX and Dev teams to design a robust, yet seamless, experience for the general public, veterinarians, and pet care benefits that employers can offer. Additionally, I played a significant role in the development and administration of marketing collateral and branded content. Vetster is a wonderful, compassionate service and product.

Suncor

We worked very hard to illustrate conversation with data, utilizing AR and VR technology. We worked together with people in the oil and gas industry. Good data collection and easily comprehensible information lead to better safety, all the way up to better land reclamation operations. With the help of remote assistance from another location, high-quality data is captured. In the oil and gas industry, even a penny saved adds up to billions. We give safety and environmental issues our full attention.

This was coming to fruition while I was there.

TD Bank


Wealth Management

TD Bank needed to redesign its mobile banking app to better embody its brand promise of a comfortable banking experience. On contract, I worked as an Art Director to design a high volume of screens for Android and iOS, all with AA compliance. Following design, we created a digital style guide for developers.

At the time this was a new App for TD.

Sapient


A "buzz model" page is created for each new Jeep vehicle that is released. We created modular templates that highlighted the distinctive features of each vehicle, from trim to power. When creating the renders, we would collaborate closely with CGI teams to ensure that lighting and photography coexist peacefully. Based on the characteristics that set a particular vehicle apart, decisions were made.

Henderson Bas


Molson

In order to support Molson's biggest event of the year, we developed a larger-than-life website experience. I was the site's principal designer and founder. This website, complete with all the bells and whistles, was entirely created in Flash and Paper Vision. There were helicopters in flight, clickable boxes falling from the sky by parachute, an interactive game involving cursor keys, video content, a concierge who led you through the website, and a contest component, among other things. At the time, this was Molson's largest online advertising campaign piece.
